Ok, so you’re probably here because you’re struggling to think of ideas for what to get for Secret Santa, or you just want a little inspiration within the beauty or skincare world. I always think it’s best to get something for your person that they wouldn’t normally get for themselves. Don’t worry, I’ve got you. Through this quick buying guide, I’ll be helping and offering you ideas for what to gift to your Secret Santa.
Let’s start with the basics!
🎅 What has the budget been set at?
🎅 Who are you buying for?
Which beauty/skincare lover are you buying for?
Make-up and skincare are an easy route that you can’t go wrong with. Ask yourself:
🎅 Does this person wear make-up or not/ does this person own a lot of make-up or skincare- if they have a lot of one then go with the other.
🎅 How well do you know your person, does something spring to mind or have they pointed out something recently?
🎅 If you have access to their make-up/skincare collection have a look at what they already have. You could find similar products by typing it into Revolution’s search bar (there are so many products out there, it can be overwhelming choosing one brand that is loved by many is a good shout).
🎅 Are they running low on something?
When I worked on make-up and skincare counters these questions helped. Have you noticed that they use certain products religiously? If it’s a skincare item I wouldn’t stray from it but if it’s make-up you have more free range. Once we answered some of these questions it narrowed the possible presents quite nicely.
Secret Santa example:
For example, let’s say our Secret Santa is someone who uses both make-up and skincare. They’ve used the same skincare product for as long as we can remember. They wear make-up most days that isn’t overly adventurous, we remember them wearing a pop of colour either on their eyes or lips. Unfortunately, we don’t have access to their make-up bag.
In this example, we’ll lean towards make-up. In all cases, I would stay away from Foundations and concealers- products that deliver coverage as they must be a certain colour to match their skin tone. So, let’s go in the direction of eyeshadows and lippies! You don’t have to buy each item individually, there are ready-made sets for you to choose from. We just need to ensure there are either eyeshadows or lipsticks in them. Secret Santa budgets vary so below are some example budgets with what present I would suggest.
All these are specific Christmas presents so there's that extra special sparkle to the packaging! They all have a variety of products that are worth more than the actual price of the set! Bang for your buck whilst also having the versatility of products which is a brilliant idea if you’re not 100% sure what to gift.

Fingers crossed I’ve managed to help you so far, if you’re still in a little bit of a rut then I’ve got one last section for you.
Revolution Beauty gift set collab’s:
This Secret Santa would be someone who loves a certain program, movie, or game. Again, we’re going back to the gift sets which have a variety of products however we’re adding a theme to them! Does your Secret Santa love Disney, Willy Wonka, DC, are they a bit of a Grinch, clueless or Coca-Cola? I could keep going but I need air. Let me tell you Revolution have the collabs ready and waiting for you.
After all that, it's time to browse what you could get for your Secret Santa. Our beauty and skincare gifts have been put into different sections to aid your search. I hope this post managed to help you, good luck and Merry Christmas.
All my best, Ellie x
