We think the cosmetics industry is one of the most creative, innovative, and important in the world. It is host to a whole variety of career paths. We believe the Revolution Academy is just one of the ways that we can achieve that.
The Academy aims to be an industry leader in nurturing new talent and breaking down the barriers of the beauty industry. We want to encourage people and show that anyone with passion and commitment can succeed in our amazing Team and in the cosmetic industry. We aim to grow the Academy as the business grows, widening its reach and giving opportunity to as many people as we can.
We will start by focusing on how we can better represent people from ethnic minority groups and disabled communities within Team Revolution, and we encourage applicants from these groups to consider applying. Academy was founded by and initiated by the Power The Revolution- an internal forum made up of a diverse board of employees from all levels and areas of the business, set up to push the business forwards in terms of Diversity and Inclusion.
To apply for the Revolution Academy:
• You should be a person from an ethnic minority group (someone who does not consider themselves to be white) or have a registered disability to apply for this intake.
• You do not need to have any specific experience or education.
• You must be 18 or over.
• You must reside & have the right to work within the UK (three places available) or US (one place available).
• Be passionate!
• Be an adaptable and flexible person.
About the placements:
• There are opportunities available across different departments, including Social, Brand, Operations and Sales/Marketing (US).
• You can state a preference for what department you would prefer on your application, but we will be selecting people based on whether we think they would be a good fit naturally for that department.
• The Academy placements are a fixed-term 12-month period, fully paid at market rate
• All training will be provided on the job, no experience is necessary! You just need to be eager, keen to learn and have a love for what we do
• You will also have the chance to be exposed to multiple areas of the business through regular Academy sessions
• A mentor will help guide you with your professional development, someone outside of your team to offer a different perspective
• You will receive all normal staff benefits including holidays (and an extra day for your birthday), staff discount and access to all our Wellbeing services
• We’re flexible on location and as local COVID-19 restrictions allow, you’ll enjoy a mix of working from home and coming into the office. We can assist with travel costs and arrangements where necessary
• We will provide all the equipment, including any specialist set ups required to make working from home better adapted to your needs.
