Now I know ‘Bronzing Drops” has been the buzzword of the year so why should you pick Revolutions? Well, I’m about the tell you the pros the cons & everything in between!
First Impressions
I was lucky enough to get my hands on these drops before anyone else, so I’ve been testing them for the past couple of weeks just for you! Here’s my first impressions when trying the product… (disclaimer: I used these just on their own after skincare)
Pros
- Smooth & silky on the skin – it evened & smoothed out any texture.
- SO hydrating – the slightly thicker formula helped lock in moisture.
- Lightweight – literally couldn’t feel it on the skin, just like skincare!
- Sun-kissed skin – the perfect shade for me, especially if I’ve got a tan on.
- Illuminated finish – this is a glow-from-within kind of product, a real glass skin vibe rather than packed with shimmer.
- The smell!! – if you love skin silk you’re going to love this! So fresh!
- The price - For only £10 I was shocked!
I’ve tried other affordable bronzing drops, but they just didn’t give the same finish, were way too glittery or had to be mixed with other products when I quite liked the choice. It was a big win for me, I can hardly put it down!
My Favourite Ways To Use Revolution Bronzing Drops
As I said before, there are so many ways you can use this product! My personal favourite way is mixing in with my primer or moisturiser for no makeup, makeup days, I normally opt for the Revolution Superbase Primer or the Revolution Skincare Hyaluronic Acid Gel Moisturiser. Just a couple drops on the back of my hand, mix it all together & apply with my fingers (I’ve heard a brush works well too!)
Or, if you’re a fake tan lover like me – try adding it to your favourite foundation, this will add a nice sun-kissed glow for those summer looks! Our skin silk foundation works well with this & it’s got the same skin-loving formula.
Finally, you can use this as a liquid bronzer on top of your makeup, I prefer using a brush for this! Simply apply where the sun would naturally hit, I even like to bring this down onto my chest & legs for an extra glow! It works particularly well with the blush and glow drops too!
